The Orton-Gillingham Approach is a direct, explicit, multisensory, structured, sequential, diagnostic, and prescriptive way to teach literacy when reading, writing, and spelling does not come easily to individuals, such as those with dyslexia.

The most beneficial tutoring will be 1:1 tutoring sessions at a minimum of twice a week on nonconsecutive days for 40-60 minutes a session.

Dyslexia Testing

Dyslexia testing is conducted by neurologists or a state-certified psychologist.  Some assessments can be conducted that identify difficulties in language-based areas that do not require a neurologist or psychologist.
